Featured in Chapter 20 of the children’s middle-grade book, Peach and Plum, the story of Monty – A Little Dog who Wanted to be Tall is about a little Yorkie, who lives a very pampered lifestyle, and who is always carried around in a designer handbag.

But, when he meets the handsome and rugged Rhodesian Ridgeback named Leo, Monty begins to see just how pampered and small he really is and doesn’t like it one bit!

He talks about his small dog troubles to his buddies at the doggie day spa, and a Great Dane named Pito helps Monty in his ambition to be tall.
